The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Week for April 15-21 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Luke placed first and set a new meet record (4:18.22) in the 1600m Run at the LCAAA Invitational. He then won the 3200m Run (9:22.01) and helped his team win the Distance Medley Relay (10:33.71) at their own Comet Relays.

Other Notable Performances

Delton Wright (Sr.), Berea-Midpark
Won the High Jump after clearing 6-5 at the Comet Relays.

Travis has had a great start to the year. He won the 400 at the Highland invitational with a time of 51.85. Travis ran on three relays at the Nordonia Knight Relays that placed second, second, and third.
