Olmsted Falls’ Hughes Named SWC Girls Soccer Athlete of the Week

The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Soccer Athlete of the Week for September 2-7 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Chloe had a school-record 5 goals against Elyria and then added 1 goal versus North Royalton last week.

Other Notable Performances:

Kamille Coleman  (Sr.), Amherst
Score 4 goals and had 2 assists in wins over Ontario and Berea-Midpark.

Sydney Thomas (Fr.), Avon
Scored 1 goal in a 2-0 win over North Ridgeville.

Bri Weber (Sr.), Avon Lake
Led the defense to consecutive shutouts against Midview and Brunswick.

Jeli Novakic (Fr.), Berea-Midpark
Demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship on the field

Rachel Anderson (Jr.), Midview
Scored Midview’s first goal of the season to help it defeat Lakewood 2-0 on Saturday.

Alyssa Gimmel (Sr.), North Ridgeville
Posted her third hat trick in seven games this season.

Amherst Steele’s Miller Named SWC Girls Soccer Athlete of the Week

The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Soccer Athlete of the Week for September 4-9 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Scored 3 goals and had 1 assist against Berea-Midpark. It was her first career hat-trick. Also added a goal against Padua.

Scored a goal versus North Ridgeville to give Avon a 1-0 win to stay undefeated in conference

Stacia Kulwicki (Junior), Midview
Has provided a great never-give attitude while leading the Middies’ defense.
