2022 All-Southwestern Conference Girls Volleyball Honors

Kylee UrbanOlmsted Falls High School senior Kylee Urban was named the 2022 Southwestern Conference Most Valuable Girls Volleyball Player following the conclusion of the SWC Girls Volleyball season.

Avon Lake High School Head Coach Shana Miocinovic and Olmsted Falls Head Coach Brigid Radigan were selected 2022 SWC Co-Coaches of the Year.

The SWC awards nine student-athletes first team honors and nine more second team recognition in girls volleyball. Each school also gets two honorable mention.

Amherst Steele’s McConihe Named SWC Volleyball Athlete of the Week

The Southwestern Conference released its Volleyball Athlete of the Week for September 12-17 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

The libero had 61 digs and 74 serve receptions in three matches last week. On Saturday, she surpassed 1,000 career digs and 1,000 career serve receptions.

Other Notable Performances

Grace Busold (Junior), Avon
The outsider hitter had 39 kills and 32 digs in three matches. She was 56/60 in serve receive and 35/39 serving.

Aubrey Kirk (Junior), Avon Lake
The outside hitter had 35 kills in 87 attempts to go along with 3 aces, 34 digs and 1 block assist.

Isabelle Zebrowski (Senior), Elyria
The right-side hitter compiled 39 kills and added 51 digs in five matches (two wins) this week.

Lily Tomasheski (Junior), Midview
The outside hitter/middle hitter had 11 kills, 10 digs and 2 total blocks against Avon and 12 kills, 5 digs, 2 blocks and 3 aces in a win over Elyria.

Sarah Walton (Senior), North Ridgeville
The outside hitter totaled 43 kills, 10 aces, 10 blocks and 33 digs in four matches.

Addie Odon (Senior), Olmsted Falls
The libero collected 6 aces and 23 digs and was 32/33 serving in two wins.
