The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Volleyball Athlete of the Week for August 1-19 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Addie Koontz
Olmsted Falls
Sophomore
Addie was instrumental in helping lead the Bulldogs to non-conference victories in a quad match against Oregon Clay, Gahanna Lincoln, and St. Francis De Sales. Koontz, a libero, compiled 10 aces, a 2.44 average serve receive rating, and also had 30 digs.
Other Notable Performances
Londyn Stone (Sophomore), Avon
Londyn had 11 kills, 9 digs and 1 ace in the Eagle’s opening match of the season.
Aubrey Kirk (Senior), Avon Lake
Aubrey had 11 kills and 3 total blocks in the Shoregals’ first match of the season.
