The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Volleyball Athlete of the Week for August 21-26 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Mia collected 26 kills, 18 digs, 10 serve receptions and 4 blocks in two matches last week.

Had 16 digs, 3 blocks, 3 aces and 15 kills.
Stephanie Smith (Senior), Avon Lake
Had 25 kills in 48 attempts (.416 hitting percentage) to go along with 7 digs, 5 aces and 3 total blocks
Maya Awad (Sophomore), Olmsted Falls
Helped the Bulldogs pick up four more victories this week, totaling 41 kills and 14 total blocks.
