The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Week for April 10-16 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Junior
Luke set a new LCAAA Invitational record while winning the 1600m Run in 4:19.44. He then came back in the 3200m Run and finished second place with a time of 9:44.87.
Other Notable Performances
Owen Bier (Sr.), Midview
Owen finished runner-up in the 300m Hurdles with a school record-breaking time of 40.38 at the LCAAA Invitational. He also tied for 8th in the Pole Vault (10-6), took 10th in the 100m Hurdles (16.52) and helped Midview place third in the 4x400m Relay.
