Southwestern Conference Bowlers of the Week 1/18-1/24

Following bowling matches on January 18th-January 24th, bowlers of the week for the Southwestern Conference were announced this afternoon. Below are this week’s honorees:

Female Bowlers of the Week
Laney Fouts (Sr)
Berea-Midpark
Fouts led the Titans with a 629 series at the Stonehedge Tournament rolling the high game of 257 for all individual girls leading the Titans to a second place finish. During the week, the senior rolled a 451 series and 368 series before bowling a three-game 525 series in the Eagle Challenge giving a tie for 4th place on the all-tournament team.

Other Notable Performances

Allison Taylor (Fr), Amherst Steele
During the week, Taylor bowled a 404 series (214/190) against Wellington.  Over the weekend, the freshman bowled a three-game series 524 (179/177/168) at the Eagle Challenge to finish sixth.

Male Bowler of the Week
Brenton Dill (So)
Avon

In two matches last week Dill rolled a 445 series (223/222) in Avon’s loss to Berea-Midpark.  He guided the Eagles to a victory over Midview with his 459 series (214/245).

Other Notable Performances

Collin Ellis (Jr), Berea-Midpark
At the Stonehedege Tournament, Ellis bowled a three game series 657 to help Berea-Midpark finish second overall.  He also bowled series of 439 and 415 in North Shore Conference matches this week.

Colby Hamilton (Sr), Midview
The Midview senior bowled a 405 series (233/172) this week for the Middies.
