The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for January 22-28 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Alex became the first person in history to win 16 career gold medals at the SWC Championship. She won the 200 Free and the 100 Butterfly with a meet record time. She also anchored the 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relay to victories for the Eagles, who won the SWC Championship for a fourth straight season.
