The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for January 15-21 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Junior
Evan had seven first place and a second place finish over two meets last week. Won the 200 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay against North Ridgeville. He missed the school record in the IM vs North Ridgeville by .12. Won the 200 IM, 100 Fly and 400 Free Relay while taking second in the 200 Free Relay against Elyria.
Other Notable Performances:
Sean Flanigan (So.), Avon
Posted personal best time in the 50 and 100 freestyles this week. He picked up wins in the 50 Free against Avon Lake, Elyria, and Olmsted Falls. He also won the 100 Free against Elyria. Sean also was a member of 4 first place relays this week, with personal best splits in each of them.
