The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Swimming Athlete of the Week for November 18 – December 3 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:
Boys Swimming Athlete of the Week
Tommy Lipowski
Avon
Sophomore
Tommy won the Medley Relay and 100 Breaststroke against Nodonia and Riverside this week. He then won 50 Breaststroke with a lifetime best time and the 100 Breaststroke with a lifetime-tying best time at the 35 team Chardon Hilltopper Invitational.
Other Notable Performances:
Dakota Bedient (Sr.), Avon Lake
Earned wins in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle at the Shoremen’s first meet of the season.
Ethan Bonus (Jr.), North Ridgeville
Posted personal records in the 100 Breaststroke, 100 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle, 200 IM, 100 IM, and 50 Breaststroke.
