The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Swimming Athlete of the Week for November 18 – December 3 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:
Girls Swimming Athlete of the Week
Sierra Kobak
Avon
Sophomore
Sierra won the 200 IM, Medley Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay and 100 Butterfly against Riverside. She also won the 200 IM and Medley relay versus Nordonia. Sierra then picked up a win the 50 Breaststroke while taking second in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke as well as a third in the 100 IM at the 35-team Chardon Hilltopper Invitational.
Other Notable Performances:
Victoria lustri (Jr.), Avon Lake
Won both the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke at the team’s first meet of the season.
Stephanie Trimbitas (Jr.), North Ridgeville
Was the high-point scorer for the first two meets.
