Following volleyball games on September 6th – September 12th the volleyball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Nia Hall (Jr)
Amherst Steele
Coming back from an injury, Nia Hall is starting to return to form, leading the Lady Comets to victories over Olmsted Falls and Sylvania Northview. The outside hitter recorded 47 kills and had three aces. Defensively, Hall had five blocks and 15 digs.
Other Notable Performances
Stephanie Smith (So), Avon Lake
The Shoregals’ outside hitter had 27 kills on the week to go along with 10 service aces to go along with 18 digs and four total blocks at the net.
