The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Tennis Athlete of the Week for August 1-17 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Senior
Kat went 6-0 at first singles over the opening two weeks. She defeated three straight returning state qualifiers to capture the title at the Norwalk Invitational and has yet to drop a set this season.

Sadi Dorazio (Jr.) & Cali Smith (Jr.), Amherst Steele
The second doubles tandem are off to a 4-0 start and have only given up one set in those matches.
Katelyn Lehmann (Sr.), Berea-Midpark
Went 4-3 over the first two weeks, splitting time between second singles and doubles. Her and partner Malayna Weber finished fourth at the Lakewood Doubles Tournament.
