Avon High School and Avon Lake High School secured a share of the the 2024 Southwestern Conference Girls Tennis Championship following the results of the SWC Girls Tennis Tournament Tuesday (September 17) evening.
The Eagles have now won six straight league titles and seven overall (2015, 2019-24). The Shoregals won their eighth-known SWC title (1978, 1980, 2003-06, 2019, 2024). The two schools also tied atop the standings in 2019.
The overall team champion is determined 50% by the regular season and 50% by the SWC Tournament.
