The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Golf Athlete of the Week for August 1-17 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Senior
Jacob shot 3-over-par 75 and was medalist at the SWC Preview. He also shot 1-over-par 36 in a win over Berea-Midpark and a 1-over-par 73 (runner-up) in helping Amherst win the Keystone invitational while setting the team tournament and school record. He has a 18-hole scoring average of 75.5 in 6 tournaments.
Other Notable Performances:
Luke Nedoma (Jr.), Berea-Midpark
Shot 80 at both the Kalida Invitational and SWC Preview. Both were a school individual 18-hole record. Also set a school individual 9-hole record 37 against Amherst.
