Amherst Steele and Olmsted Falls are 2023 SWC Boys Golf Tournament Co-Champions

Amherst Steele High School and Olmsted Falls High School battled to an 18-hole draw at the 2023 Southwestern Conference Boys Golf Tournament, which took place under perfect summer-like conditions on Thursday (September 21) at Grey Hawk Golf Club. When the final scores were tabulated both teams accumulated 329 strokes out of their top four golfers to finish as 2023 Co-Champions. Despite what was announced at the course, the SWC does not use the fifth-score tie-breaker.

Amherst was paced by runner-up junior Prince Tran, who finished with a four-over-par 76. Senior Ryan Yoder (82) tied for sixth, while sophomore Alek Kissane (86) tied for 12th and senior Landen Bray (88) and junior Jacob Sprinkle (88) tied for 17h.
