The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Week for August 21-26 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Ty, the team captain, placed second out of 218 runners with a time of 16:12 to help the Steele Varsity Boys place third out of 27 teams at the GlenOak Invitational.
Other Notable Performances:
Alan Kline (Freshmen), Avon
Alan ran a freshman 5K debut time of 33:04 at the Classic at Mastick on August 9. This past week he ran two 5K races. The first was at the Keystone Icebreaker on Monday, where he ran 28:18. This past Saturday at the Riverside Night Invitational Alan ran 25:35.
