The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Week for March 22 – April 7 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Senior
Brooke, in her first year of track, won the 200m Dash at the Midview Mixed Relays and the 100m Dash, & 200m Dash in a dual versus Elyria. She also anchored the 4x200m Relay to a first place finish at the Nordonia Relays.
Other Notable Performances:
Claire Springer (Sr.), Avon Lake
Threw a Division-1-leading toss of 44-10.5 in the Shot Put at the Lakewood Ranger Relays.
MyAsia Pendergrass (Sr.), Elyria
Placed first in the 100m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles against North Ridgeville and placed third 100m Hurdles at the Perkins Invitational.
