The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for January 16-22 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Junior
Link won the 500 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle Relay, 100 Breaststroke and 400 Freestyle Relay (four of the last five events at the meet) against Avon and Elyria. He then swam the final four events against Avon Lake and took honors in the 100 Breaststroke and anchored the winning 400 Freestyle Relay.
Other Notable Performances
Aidan Carney (Senior), Berea-Midpark
Place second in the 200 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly and 200 Freestyle Relay while also winning the 400 Freestyle Relay on Tuesday.
