The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Swimming Athlete of the Week for January 13-19 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:
Boys Swimming Athlete of the Week
Luke Lundgard
Avon
Freshman
Luke won three events against Strongsville and four versus Olmsted Falls and Avon Lake. During those wins, he had three personal best times. Luke helped the Eagles finish the season undefeated in the SWC for the first time in school history.
Other Notable Performances:
Ben Frazier (Sr.), Olmsted Falls
Finished first in the 50 Freestle and second in the 100 Butterfly with a lifetime best while also helping the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay win its races against Amherst
