The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for December 23 – January 5 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Sophomore
Gavin posted 16 wins and 5 lifetime bests over break. He has wins against Berea-Midpark, Wadsworth, Elyria and North Ridgeville. Additionally, he had personal best times in the 200 Butterfly, 400 Individual Medley, 100 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle to finish top 3 in each at the Eagle Open and Beachwood Distance Invitational.
Other Notable Performances:
Johnny Habre (Jr.), Berea-Midpark
Placed first in the Medley Relay, 50 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke and 200 Freestyle Relays against both Padua and Elyria Catholic.
