Berea-Midpark won the 2022 Southwestern Conference Gymnastics Championships title on Thursday, securing its second-consecutive crown.
The Titans tallied 139.600 points en route to the team title, followed by Avon in second place with 137.200. Olmsted Falls finished in third with 135.750 points, North Ridgeville placed fourth with 131.000 while Avon Lake rounded out the scoring with 127.250.
Olmsted Falls’ Carley Abbott won the all-around title with a final score of 35.800. Avon’s Maddie Geiger followed in second place with a 35.450 and teammate Reilly Small finished in third with a 35.050.
Avon’s Small and Berea-Midpark’s Emma Roig tied for the vault title with scores of 9.300. Olmsted Falls’ Abbot recorded a 9.000 to win on bars, while Avon’s Emily Sussman tallied a 9.400 on beam to win the event title. Berea-Midpark’s Finley Devins took home the floor title after posting a 9.200.
