Following gymnastics meets on January 3rd – January 9th the gymnast of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Hannah Lengel (Sr)
Avon Lake
The Avon Lake senior has worked hard through hip surgery and is coming back into the 2021-22 season strong. Last week she finished third in the all-around, sixth on vault, eleventh on bars, and third in both the floor and balance beam.
Other Notable Performances
Lydia Bubar (So), North Ridgeville
North Ridgeville’s Bubar is having a great time competing this season as her confidence continues to grow with her hard work. The sophomore finished second in the all-around last week for the Rangers.
