Nolan Wagner (Sr)
North Olmsted
In the Eagles’ opening day start, Wagner pitched a gem, throwing for five innings, giving up zero runs, only allowing three hits and striking out 10 in North Olmsted’s victory over Open Door Christian.
Other Notable Performances
Ryan Starr (Sr), Avon
Starr pitched five innings and struck out seven in Avon’s opening game of the year against Keystone.
Gianno Zuccaro (Sr), Berea-Midpark
The Titans lead-off hitter started the 2021 season with a full-count triple ripped to right center field. Zuccaro would rope a double to right field to finish the day 2-4 from the plate with two extra base hits.
