Following bowling matches on December 28th-January 3rd, bowlers of the week for the Southwestern Conference were announced this afternoon. Below are this week’s honorees:
Female Bowler of the Week
Gabrielle Hansen (Sr)
Westlake
Hansen bowled a season high series of 338 this past week. She led the Demons to a their highest six game baker series (969) in the GCIBL this season.
Male Bowler of the Week
Joe Scanio (Jr)
Berea-Midpark
Scanio was named the MVP of the Padua Bruins Tournament over the weekend after bowling a three game 701 series.
Other Notable Performances
Adam Puszak (Sr), Olmsted Falls
Olmsted Falls’ Puszak bowled a 408 series against St. Ed’s and then a three game series of 621 at the Padua Bruin Classic.
Andrew Bodi (Sr), Westlake
Bodi bowled a two game series of 401 (173.228) in Westlake’s win over Lutheran West.
