The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Bowling Athlete of the Week for January 1-7 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Grady Stipe
Avon
Sophomore
Grady rolled a 289 against Lorain on Wednesday. He then went on to bowl a 614 series at the Bruin Classic Tournament with games of 236, 211 and 167 on Saturday. This led the Avon Eagles into the semifinals and earned him a nod on the All-Tournament Team.
Other Notable Performances
Jon Roberts (Jr.), Amherst
Bowled games of 235 and 156 on Wednesday then added games of 234, 242 and 214 (690 series) to help the Comets place second at the Clutch Classic.
Zac Sprague (Jr.), Midview
Bowled a 425 series (189 – 236) against Firelands, which was 69 pins over average.
