Following wrestling matches on February 1st-7th, the wrestler of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

The senior 132 pounder for the Eagles went 7-0 on the week. His most impressive matches were a tech fall (17-2) over the 14th ranked wrestler in division 1 (North Olmsted) and 5-4 decision over the fifth ranked wrestler in D1 (Oregon Clay).
Other Notable Performances
Tyler Fair (Jr), North Ridgeville
Fair went 6-1 on the week for the Rangers. The junior 160 pounder won each of his matches by way of the pin, securing wins over Lorain, Parma, North Canton Hoover, Painesville Harvey, Chardon and Grand Valley.
