Following games on January 25th-31st, the boys basketball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Alex Kvak (Sr)
Berea-Midpark
The Berea-Midpark center averaged 19.3 points per game and 10 rebounds per game in three games last week as the Titans defeated Avon and Orange High School and fell in a closely contested battle with Westlake.
Other Notable Performances
Austin Bray (Jr), Amherst Steele
In a key SWC showdown with Olmsted Falls, Bray recorded 19 points on 6 of 11 shooting from the field (3 of 5 from beyond the arc), and a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line as the Comets defeated the Bulldogs.
Dom Rini (Sr), Avon
In three games, Rini averaged 17.6 points per game for the Eagles in games against Berea-Midpark, Midview and Avon Lake.
