Following games on April 4th – April 10th, the baseball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honorees:
Baseball Player of the Week
Jake Boynar (Jr)
North Ridgeville
Boynar pitched five innings of shut out baseball against Olmsted Falls last week, striking out eight. The junior also hit .375 on the week with a double and four runs batted in.
Other Notable Performances
Ethan Holbrook (Jr), Avon
Holbrook swiped four bags in three games last week for Avon while also hitting .429 from the plate.
Ryan Bors (Jr), Midview
Boors had a complete game victory on the hill last week for the Middies, striking out four and giving up zero earned runs.
Dylan Sowers (So), Olmsted Falls
In three games last week, Sowers was 5-of-10 from the plate with a double, two runs scored and one RBI.
