The Southwestern Conference released its Softball Athlete of the Week for May 5-11 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Maddie went 3-0 on the mound with 23 strikeouts and 0 earned runs allowed over 17 innings of work. She also batted .375 (3-for-8) with a double, a triple and a home run to go along with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI. She contributed on both scoring plays in a 2-0 win over North Ridgeville to keep the Titans alive for a share of the SWC title.
