The Southwestern Conference released its Softball Athlete of the Week for April 20-26 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Ashley batted .566 (10-for-18) with 2 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 2 runs scored and 5 RBI. She also picked up wins over Avon and Elyria on the mound and surpassed 100 strikeouts on the season.

Batted .350 (7-for-20) with 5 doubles, 2 runs scored, 3 stolen bases and 3 RBI
Rowan Burbules (Jr.), Berea-Midpark
Batted .455 (5-for-11) with 3 home runs, including a grand slam, to go along with 6 runs scored and 8 RBI.
Savannah Holcomb (Jr.), Midview
Went 3-1 over five appearances last week. Struck out 27 over 26 innings and surpassed the 300 career strikeout mark.
