The Southwestern Conference released its Baseball Athlete of the Week for April 20-26 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Kaiden batted .529 (9-for-17) with 1 double, 1 triple, 9 runs scored, 7 stolen bases, 4 walks and 2 RBI to help the Middies to a 3-2 record last week.
Other Notable Performances:
Bailey Thibeault (Sr.), Avon Lake
Notched a win and a save in two appearances last week. Did not allow a hit while giving up two runs and striking out 7 versus Benedictine and then threw a scoreless inning of relief with two punch outs against Olmsted Falls.
Jason Begalla (Sr.), North Ridgeville
Allowed 0 earned runs and struck out 8 over 5 innings in win against Berea-Midpark
