The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Week for March 12 – April 21 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Senior
Isabel set a meet record and personal record while winning the Shot Put (37-7) and also took first place in the Discus Throw (100-06) at the Shipwreck Invitational. She also won the Shot Put (35-10) against Avon while placing second place in both the Shot Put (37-5.00) and Discus Throw (101-8.00) at the John Sanders Invitational.
Other Notable Performances:
Ana Buehrer (Sr.), Berea-Midpark
Won the 3200m Run (12:01.35) at the Lakewood Relays
Mariam Othman (Jr.), North Ridgeville
Won the 100m Dash and 200m Dash against Berea-Midpark. Ran her season best time in the 100m Dash and helped all three of her relays run their best times of the season at the Nordonia Knight Relays
