The Southwestern Conference released its Football Athlete of the Week for October 20-25 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Sawyer had 14 total tackles, including 10 solo stops while adding three carries as a full back for six yards, including the game-winning touchdown to defeat Amherst 14-7 in OT and secure Midview’s postseason berth.

Aidan Stewart (Sr.), Avon Lake
Aidan had 14 carries for 88 yards and 3 TDs, while completing 9-of-12 passes for 50 yards. He also connected on both of his field goal attempts.
