Each month, the Southwestern Conference will recognize student-athletes who are excelling in the classroom as well as those who have demonstrated the highest levels of integrity and sportsmanship. For September the SWC recognizes the following student-athletes:

Samantha Klein, a member of the National Honor Society, is currently enrolled in Intro to Philosophy and Macro Economics via the CCP program. Outside of tennis, she is active in Ski Club and is a volunteer at her church.
Christopher Payne
Senior
Midview High School
Football / Boys Soccer / Boys Basketball / Track & Field
Christopher Payne carries a 4.1714 cumulative grade point average into his fifth semester. The honor roll recipient is currently enrolled in Principles of Biology, College Composition, Introduction to Psychology and Anatomy & Physiology through Lorain County Community College.

Abbigail Roy

Girls Golf
Abbigail Roy has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout her senior golf season. She goes out of her way to get to know her competitors and always treats others with kindness and respect on and off the course. Beyond athletics, Abbigail has also made a remarkable impact in the community, contributing over 100 hours of service through her involvement in various projects and initiatives.
In addition to golf, Roy is active in both the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. She is also the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) President and serves on the Senior Executive Board, Student-Athlete Leadership Team and Female Athlete Leadership Team at Berea-Midpark.
