The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Week for August 18-24 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Johnny captured fourth place with a personal record of 16:58, catapulting him into sixth on the school’s top ten fastest boys runner board.
Other Notable Performances:
Jose Alvelo (Sr.), Avon
Ran a personal record 16:22 at Centerville Night Invitational, placing 16th and leading his team to a seventh place finish.
Kaleb Freeman (S0.), Elyria
Ran 17:20 in his first varsity race to place sixth at Titan Invitational.
