The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Week for August 18-24 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Senior
Ana won the Berea-Midpark Invitational with a 5K time of 19:45 and helped her squad finished runner-up overall.
Other Notable Performances:
Lola Schaaf (Fr.), Amherst
Finished sixth and broke 20 minutes in her first high school meet to lead Amherst to a third place finish at the Eastwood Night Invitational
Jessica Pendleton (Sr.), Avon
Finished 35th out of 288 runners at the HOKA Kickoff Classic XC Showcase where her team placed runner-up in the 36-team event.
