The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Bowling Athlete of the Week for January 27 – February 2 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Ariana rolled a 326 series (180-146) against Avon and a 408 series (198-210) versus North Olmsted before winning the NSBC Tournament with a 552 three-game series (148-180-224). She also helped the Middies win their third ever NSBC Tournament and first since 2019.

Sophia Chapman (Jr.), Amherst
Rolled a 520 three-game series (171-172-177) to place 7th at the NSBC Tournament after a 343 series (156-187) against Berea-Midpark
Cameron Gallup (Fr.), Avon
Bowled a career-best 315 series (160-155) against Berea-Midpark. She was 137 pins over her average on the year.
Kimara McCree (So.), Berea-Midpark
Took 7th at the NSBC Tournament with a 236 game, which was top game of the day. She was 113 pins over her average at the event.
Gabriella Burz (So.), North Ridgeville
Posted a 348 series (186-174) against Buckeye and a 327 series (194-133) versus Firelands to go along with a 136 game at the NSBC Tournament. She was 81 pins over her average on teh week.
