Sportsmanship Athletes of the Month

Ryan Kemer

Ryan Kemer is an outstanding representative of what it means to be a Middie. Off the course, he is active in LOVE Club, Link Crew, National Honors Society and Hot Stove Baseball. He has participated in the following community service projects: Moose’s Mission, Wreaths Across America, Brownhelm Christmas, St. Mary’s Food Pantry, First Tee Golf, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County, Multiple Breed Rescue and A Special Wish of Northeast Ohio.

“Ryan displays what sportsmanship is all about day in and day out on the golf course. He greets opponents and shakes their hands after the completion of a round. In a sport where the players are their own refs, he is honest about scoring and ruling. As his coach, when I am not around him on the course, whether its at practice or a match, I can trust that he is always doing the right thing.”

– Head Coach Kyle Zimmer
