The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Tennis Athlete of the Week for September 9-14 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Kat finished the week 5-0 with a key win over Avon Lake to lock up the top seed at first singles. She also advanced to Tuesday’s SWC title match with a pair of SWC Tournament wins. Yates is now 20-0 on the year.
Other Notable Performances:
Gianna Colonna (Fr.), Berea-Midpark
Earned three wins last week and advanced to the SWC Tournament Semifinals and will play for third place at third singles on Tuesday.
