The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Week for September 2-7 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Aubrey placed fifth at the Seneca East High School Stars, Stripes and Lights meet on Saturday. She finished in a personal best time of 19:28.6.
Other Notable Performances:
Sophia Pecora (Sr.), Amherst
Ran a lifetime best by almost 40 seconds, breaking 20 minutes for the 1st time in her career. Her 19:52 at the Wooster Invitational was good for 29th and led her team to a 7th place finish overall.
Tori Bell (Jr.), Elyria
Finished in fourth place at Buckeye Invitational with a time of 21:44.
