The Southwestern Conference released its Football Athlete of the Week for September 2-7 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Brayden collected 15 total tackles and 1 forced fumble in Midview’s 27-0 shutout of Elyria Catholic. It was the Middies’ second straight shutout, which hasn’t happened since 2006.

Patrick Fellenstein (Jr.), Amherst
Collected 10 total tackles, including 8 solo stops, and 2 tackles for loss in Amherst’s 24-7 win over North Olmsted.
Owen Garcia (Sr.), Avon
Had 13 total tackles, including 5 solo stops, and 1 sack to go along with a key fourth quarter interception in Avon’s 13-12 win over Glenville.
