The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Golf Athlete of the Week for September 2-7 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Ethan Olszowy
Avon
Sophomore
Ethan shot a 78 to help his team win the Midview Invitational on Tuesday. He then shot a 2-under-par 33 on the back nine of Brentwood on Wednesday to help the Eagles shoot an even-par 140 as a team.
Other Notable Performances:
Michael Haddix (Sr.), Amherst
Shot a 78 to help the Comets place second at the Midview Invitational. He then shot 1-under-par 35 vs Elyria at Fox Creek
Oliver Marcelo (So.), Berea-Midpark
Averaged a 39 for the week’s matches while also shooting an 81 at the Midview Invitational.
Naylan Boddy (Sr.), Elyria
Continues to be a positive influence for the team and for the game of golf.
Wyatt Frank (Jr.), Midview
Shot a 78 at the Midview Invitational and then a 1-over-par 36 on the back nine of Brentwood against Avon.
Quade Hess (So.), Olmsted Falls
Shot an 84 at the Midview Invitational, a 38 at Sweetbriar against Avon Lake and a career-low 75 at the Pfieffer Invitational at Windmill Lakes.
