The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Tennis Athlete of the Week for September 2-7 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Seniors
Aubrey and Callie teamed up to win the LCAAA first doubles championship. The third seed avenged earlier losses to Elyria Catholic and North Ridgeville en route to the title.
Other Notable Performances:
Autumn Korey (Sr.) and Elizabeth Meiners (Sr.), Avon Lake
Won the first doubles championship at the Highland Invitational.
Addison Hall (Sr.) and Ava Vucenovic (Jr.), Berea-Midpark
Went 2-0 last week, including a 3-set victory over Elyria that lasted over three hours.
Katarina Yates (Sr.), Midview
Finished the week 5-0 at first singles. Won the LCAAA first singles championship for the second straight season.
