The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Golf Athlete of the Week for August 19-24 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Cole shot 79 at the Green Invitational on Monday and then a one-under-par 34 on the back nine of Brentwood to help the Bulldogs knock off Avon on Tuesday.
Other Notable Performances:
Alek Kissane (Jr.), Amherst
Shot a pair of 39’s to lead the Amherst to victories over Midview and Avon Lake. He combined for 12 pars along with 2 birdies during the two matches.
Oliver Marcelo (So.), Berea-Midpark
Shot a 38 against Midview.
Ethan Taylor (Sr.), Midview
Shot a 38 against Amherst, a 36 in a victory over Berea-Midpark and a 38 in a win over North Olmsted.
