The Southwestern Conference released its Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Week for August 19-24 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

Nora ran a lifetime best of 19:50 to finish sixth at the Eastwood Invitational, leading her team to a second place finish in the 20-team race.
Other Notable Performances:
Carolina Reed (Sr.), Avon
Finished 10th out of 173 runners at the GlenOak Golden Eagle Invitational in a time of 20:20.07, helping her team win the meet with 22 teams competing.
Ana Buehrer (Jr.), Berea-Midpark
Individual champion at the Titan Invitational with a time of 20:27.70 helping team to runner-up finish.
Kendall McCray (Sr.), Berea-Midpark
Placed second at the Keystone Icebreaker Invitational in a person record time of 19:53.13, leading her team to a second place finish of 20 teams.
