The Southwestern Conference released its Softball Athlete of the Week for April 24-30 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Mallory collected 16 strikeouts and allowed one unearned run on 3 hits in a win over Midview and then struck out 8 more while allowing just 1 earned run the next day against Avon. Offensively, she batted .571 (4-for-7) with 3 runs scored, 3 walks and 2 RBI last week.

Batted .667 (10-for-15) with 1 home run, 1 double, 7 runs scored, 7 RBI and 2 stolen bases over five games last week.
