The Southwestern Conference released its Wrestling Athlete of the Week for December 12-18 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Anderson, a 150-pounder, finished the week 9-0 in dual matches. He went 8-0 at the Vermilion Super Duals this weekend, with a win over a state-ranked wrestler, to earn MVP of the middle weights.

Eddie Powers (Senior), North Ridgeville
The Heavyweight went 6-0 for the week with six pins. He earned a win against Olmsted Falls then pinned his way to the Willoughby South Rebel Championship. It was his first career tournament championship.
