The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Week for October 10-15 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Ty won the 2022 Southwestern Conference Championship with a time of 16:32.4 on Saturday. Perez, who also won the title as a freshmen and finished second as a sophomore, is the 12th boy to win two SWC titles since 1966.
