The Southwestern Conference released its Boys Golf Athlete of the Week for August 29 to September 3 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Senior
Began the week with a two-over par 36 Monday at Columbia (Pine Brook). He then added an even-par 35 Wednesday versus Berea-Midpark (Brentwood) before finishing the week with a school-record 4-under 31 Thursday against North Olmsted (Brentwood).
Other Notable Performances
Jake Platner (Junior), Olmsted Falls
Came up big with a career-low round of 36 at Mallard Creek to clinch a victory against Avon and remain undefeated in SWC match play.
